Life Story
The Lord blessed me with parents who taught me about God and raised me in the local church, where I came to know the truth about Christ at a young age. It was after graduating from Texas Tech University that my relationship with Jesus became personal and more of a daily walk. I was convicted that if I was going to be obedient in following Christ, anything in my life that didn't draw me to intimacy with God and obedience to Him had to go. This led me to experience God's grace and mercy daily, freeing me to live for Him in true joy, rejecting the pursuit of the American dream and the need for the world’s approval.
In 2012, God radically changed my life, and I knew I would never be the same. For the first time ever, I was exposed to unreached people groups and the reality that 40 percent of our world doesn't have access to the gospel. A few months later, I took a class where I learned about God's desire for all people to know and worship Him. I never once dreamed I would be in ministry, but through a lot of prayer, God made it abundantly clear that it was the right next step for me.
I am excited to be at The Village and look forward to worshiping and serving alongside the body of Christ here.
Hope for The Village Church
My hope for The Village is that we would glorify God by making His Name great in all the world. I pray that we would be a church that prepares people well to go to the unreached—to love God and love people.
