Life Story

I was born in Indiana and moved around the country several times before settling in the DFW area. I attended church on Sundays growing up, but the gospel never took root in my heart. I didn't know and follow the Lord until I turned 17. I was saved at a Young Life camp before my senior year of high school. That week, God rescued my heart, and I came to know Him in a personal way.

I attended college at Abilene Christian University, where my faith and beliefs were stretched, shaped, and molded. I was pushed to learn what I believed and why I believed it. I met my husband, Tyler, my senior year. We married in 2006 and have two precious children, Luke and Hannah.

We have attended The Village Church since 2007. We love serving in various ways and enjoy the deep community we have here. We have loved growing in sanctification and have seen God moving in and through us since joining The Village Church.

Hope for The Village Church

My hope is that we would be a place where the gospel makes disciples who strive to grow deeper in their understanding of community and passionately pursue the Lord. I yearn to see a body of believers who proclaim the gospel to the communities, workplaces, and homes in which they live.
