Life Story

I was born and raised as a pastor's kid in the beautiful, small town of Victoria, Texas. I was saved at a very young age and grew in knowledge of Jesus and biblical teachings as a kid. I had a lot of stories under my belt and knew that Jesus loved me, but it took a while to fully understand my need for a relationship with Jesus. After a season of rebellion in high school, the Lord brought me to the end of myself and showed me that I am a sinner in desperate need of a Savior.

From that moment on, the knowledge I had accumulated came into practice and I learned what it meant to live abundantly. I graduated from Baylor University in May 2022. It was during those four years that I learned what it meant to live authentically, to live in real community, and to love Jesus in all that I do instead of compartmentalizing Him into small sections of my life. I entered college as a Music Education Major, but felt a call to ministry during my freshman year and pivoted all of my plans to pursue ministry. I became an intern in the Youth Ministry at Harris Creek Baptist Church, and worked three summers with Pine Cove City. Through serving with these ministries, the Lord humbled me and sanctified me to love Him and His people better.

After Baylor, I entered Pine Cove's discipleship and leadership program called The Forge. At The Forge, I was able to spend a year in the Word with tight-knit community and accountability. I dove deep into my history and learned more about who it is that God designed me to be. I moved to DFW in May 2023, and I am so excited to see what the Lord has in store for me in this new season of life.

Hope for The Village Church

My hope is that we would build relationships that build disciples. I pray that we would be known, not for our actions or good deeds, but for the fact that we know Jesus.
