While every effort will be made to honor preferences for giving, contributions are made with the understanding that The Village Church has complete discretion and control over the use of the donated funds. In the case of short-term missions, The Village Church plans to direct contributions to the cost of sending the preferenced team member on the trip; according to IRS regulations, however, the final decision of how to allocate these funds must remain with The Village Church.
