Preschool Ministry Assistant

The Preschool Ministry Assistant is responsible for administration and oversight, managing and maintaining the Preschool Ministry physical space, and the preparing and readying of preschool curriculum and supplies.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee printing and organization of all curriculum, materials, and resources for Sunday services
  • Provide supplies and curriculum for activities and teaching
  • Be available on Sundays to support volunteers and ensure a smooth flow of service
  • Assist with Sunday service check-in and welcome process
  • Coordinate hospitality for volunteers 
  • Plan, prepare, and execute classes and events in partnership with Preschool Ministry staff 
  • Oversee, equip, and lead midweek volunteer team

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Agree with The Village Church’s Expectations of Membership, Statement of Faith, and commit to exhibit a lifestyle that is consistent with the same
  • High school diploma required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1–2 years experience in office administration
  • Experience with children
  • Proficient in GSuite
  • Proficient in administrative skills
  • Basic knowledge of preschool development
