Role

The Care Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Care Division’s mission: to provide a Christ-centered refuge of transformation, hope, and support. The Care Coordinator is responsible for logistical and administrative support for the Redemptive Care department and for division-wide projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Care inbox correspondence, connection requests, Care dashboards, and documentation.
  • Provide administrative support to execute the counseling referral and benevolence processes.
  • Assist in planning, administering, and executing major Care Division events, such as the Care Retreat and Care Summer Series.
  • Coordinate logistics for Redemptive Care programs (e.g., STEPS, Care Groups, Recovery, Art of Care, etc.) by managing registrations, curriculum, media, and participant communications.
  • Onboard new volunteers and deacons, ensuring ongoing volunteer compliance and coordinating volunteer care and development events.
  • Coordinate ordering supplies and resources, along with facilities and communications requests for ministry activities.
  • Partner across departments to establish standardized operational processes, collaborate on budgets, and proactively anticipate Care division needs.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Agree with The Village Church’s Expectations of Membership, Statement of Faith, and commit to exhibit a lifestyle that is consistent with the same
  • Agree and fully endorse The Village Church’s Care practice and philosophy paper. 
  • Excellent administrative and logistical skills
  • Excellent time management skills and detail-oriented
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • A love for communicating with people and connecting them to spaces for care and healing
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Proficient in Google Workspace and Asana, and able to learn church software systems
