TVC Responsibilities:
I serve as a deacon in the Prayer Ministry at TVC. My husband and I are tasked with developing, organizing, and overseeing the Prayer Response Team. This is where we pray with individuals at the end of our weekend services and in other ministry spaces.

When and how did the Lord save you?
When I was 7 or 8 years old, I was sitting on my bedroom floor with my mother, asking her questions about Jesus. She helped me pray to give my life to Jesus, and I was baptized soon after. That was my moment of salvation, but I have progressively surrendered to Him at points in my life.

When did you come to TVC and what brought you here?
In 2003, my college roommate was invited to visit TVC by a pastor at the church who was dining at the restaurant she worked at, and she asked me to go with her. I started dating Colin, who is now my husband, around the same time and invited him to attend with me. We’ve been at TVC ever since!

If you had to give a TED Talk, what subject would you choose to speak on, and why?
Without a doubt, it would have something to do with humanity’s innate longing for divine purpose. I think of Ecclesiastes 3:11, that God has “set eternity in the human heart.” It would bring me great joy to share about coming awake to the One True God and having that deep call for adventure and purpose fulfilled by walking with and serving Him.

If you were to have your childhood dream job, what would your job be?
A cashier or a veterinarian

I love taking walks (when the Texas weather is cooperating)!
