TVC Responsibilities:
My wife, Lucy, and I serve as deacons to care for those who have sensed a call to international missions. This care includes helping them through the process of going or not going to the mission field. We also encourage them to find and develop an advocacy team to support them when they leave for the field.

When and how did the Lord save you?
The Lord began to pursue me from an early age as my parents were strong followers of Christ. When I was 9, I began to ask my mother about becoming a Christian. Mother led me to trust Jesus as my Lord and Savior and to seek His forgiveness when I did the wrong thing. He has been faithful to remind me of His saving power and His forgiveness and love for me even when I have fallen short.

When did you come to TVC and what brought you here?
Lucy and I joined a small group from Lakeland Baptist Church who were planting a church in Highland Village. They were meeting across the street from our house on Clearwater Street in 1978. We have been blessed to see this small group grow to what is now called The Village Church. During the spring of 1980, the church commissioned us as missionaries.

After our retirement in 2014, we rejoined TVC.
