TVC Responsibilities:
As deacon, I will support Women’s Bible Study with logistics. I will help with planning and executing all events with Women's Bible Study. I'll also support the other volunteer roles, helping them problem solve or being extra hands for any of their roles. I'll be present at Bible Study for any ministering needs of the participants as well.

When and how did the Lord save you?
I accepted Jesus into my heart during 3rd grade, but I have learned more and more about what that means through the years. I was baptized as a 25-year-old here at The Village! Jesus has saved me from my pride, my selfishness, and my judgment of others. He has taught me much about His love and grace through years of blessings and times of great suffering. I am grateful for how the Lord has and continues to walk with me through my life!

When did you come to TVC and what brought you here?
I came to TVC in 2004 while I was looking for a church home with a few of my friends. I met my husband at TVC, and we married in 2008. We have been here ever since!

If you were to have your childhood dream job, what would your job be?
My dream job was being a teacher, and I got to do that!

Which fictional character would you be friends with in real life, and why?
I would like to be friends with the main character, Alice, from the book Giver of the Stars because she is brave and inspirational! She is loving and good at getting to know people and relating to them. She’s also adventurous, and I’d love to join her in riding horses and delivering library books to people in the mountains!

Favorite Hobby:
Doing activities outdoors with my family and reading books!
