TVC Responsibilities:
My responsibilities include inspiring our greeters to step into faith using their gifts, creating community, loving and supporting members as we make disciples, seeking out new greeters, raising up leaders, and working alongside the church to support its vision.
When and how did the Lord save you?
I grew up in a loving home with parents who were new believers, and they raised my brother and me in a solid Christian church. The Lord had a strong hold on my heart from a very young age. I accepted the Lord when I was around 8 or 9 years old and was baptized around 13. Through every hill and valley, God has continuously shown me His grace, love, and mercy.
When did you come to TVC and what brought you here?
We came to The Village Church when we moved to Texas in the fall of 2024. We had a list of churches to try, but when we stepped foot into TVC, we never looked elsewhere because it felt like home. We love the solid, biblical teaching that never wavers on the truth, and we appreciate the eldership of godly men overseeing the church.
If you had to give a TED Talk, what subject would you choose to speak on, and why?
I would love to speak on the importance of deep, female friendships. God created men and women to complement one another, and I am my best self because of the godly women surrounding me. Every woman needs the support of other women.
If you were to have your childhood dream job, what would your job be?
As a child, I always wanted to be a mom and a teacher, and I feel incredibly blessed to be doing both today!
Which fictional character would you be friends with in real life, and why?
Emmet Brickowski from The Lego Movie. Like Emmet, I like to think that “everything is awesome.” I tend to have an optimistic outlook on life and gravitate toward people who find beauty in each day.
Favorite Hobby:
Anything outdoors, such as playing sports, hiking, paddleboarding, having patio lunches with friends, and soaking up the sunshine.
