TVC Responsibilities:
I advocate on behalf of the organization and employees in the areas of compliance, compensation, benefits, personnel management, and performance development.
When and how did the Lord save you?
As a kid, I learned the stories of the Bible but did not know who Jesus Christ really was. As a high schooler, my focus was on myself. In 10th grade, my family changed churches and began attending a Bible church in Plano, Texas. Simultaneously, my grades began to suffer, I became injured, and I lost my passion for music. During breakfast with my youth pastor, he explained to me that Jesus Christ came to earth as God incarnate and lived a sinless life as a substitutionary atonement for my own sin. God loved me so much that He sacrificed His own Son so that I could live an eternity with Him. Jesus rose from the dead and conquered the power of death. Through grace, by faith, that morning I asked Jesus Christ to be my Lord and Savior, not because of anything I did or could do, but because of everything He had done. Since then, I have continued to grow in my knowledge of God, serve Him in ways He uniquely created me for, and share the “good news” with others. One of the greatest things is that I get to enjoy eternity with God.
When did you come to TVC and what brought you here?
Our family moved to the area in 2005. We attended TVC for a short time until we needed to make a move because of my job. But, we came back at the beginning of 2026 because of TVC’s clear teaching from God’s Word, accountability to apply God’s word, conviction to listen to the Holy Spirit, and value placed on community.
If you were to have your childhood dream job, what would your job be?
Character actor at Disney World or an NFL mascot
Which fictional character would you be friends with in real life, and why?
Jim Halpert and I would be fast friends. He’s proof that the best pranks don’t have to be cruel, but they do have to be entertaining. He’s quietly kind and empathetic; he’s fun; he’s smart; he’s insightful; and I feel like he’s the kind of friend you could take a long car ride with and not feel like you have to fill the silence.
