An Invitation to Serve

The Village Church invites you to join us in ministry. Ministry is service, and every believer is "called" to ministry. Your calling is "God's personal invitation to every believer to work on His agenda, using the talents each has been given in ways that are eternally significant." Romans 11:29 says "for God's gifts and His call are irrevocable."

Don't be afraid to try something new...permit God to guide you to the ministry in which He has created and designed you to serve. Remember He who began a good work in you is faithful to complete it. He will always enable you to do what He calls you to do.

While not everyone is able to serve at any particular time, we encourage you to consider the following questions in relation to serving here at The Village:

1. Am I using my time and talents to accomplish my personal ministry?
2. Am I living a life of gratitude by joyfully donating a portion of my time and talent back to God?
3. Do I believe God has given me unique talents and skills to be used according to His purpose?
4. Am I willing to answer the call to ministry, even in the smallest of ways?

If you are unable to serve in this season of your life, please let us know how we may minister to you. Being the body is about both giving and receiving ministry. We encourage you to discuss your ministry needs with your home group leader. If you do not have a home group, contact Gilbert Montez for assistance in finding one. We believe our home groups are where we effectively minister to each other.
