Sending Program
Gospel-centered multiplication is a central means by which we make disciples, and our Sending Program is one of the primary ways we carry it out. Through the program, we prepare and send out emerging leaders to be effective messengers of reconciliation in a variety of contexts.
Join
The Sending Program is made up three tracks: resident, intern and missionary. You must be a Covenant Member to apply.
Resident
The resident track provides practical experience, training, accountability and direction for leaders in ministry leadership or ministry services. Residents commit to 35 hours a week for two years as part-time staff members of The Village, focusing on either church planting or leadership development. The first year includes theological training and ministry experience, and the second year includes focused preparation.
REGISTRATION IS CURRENTLY CLOSED.
Intern
The intern track gives leaders the opportunity to explore vocational ministry and develop in ministry leadership or ministry services. Interns commit to 25 hours a week for one or two years as part-time staff members of The Village, which includes theological training and ministry experience.
REGISTRATION IS CURRENTLY CLOSED.
Missionary
The missionary track prepares leaders with the basic knowledge, character and skills required for planting new churches and planting churches that already exist. Missionaries commit to one year of training as non-staff members of The Village.
This track is part of our Home Groups ministry and has unlimited availability.
Support
Our Sending Program residents and interns are responsible for raising support. Through the World Village, a non-profit organization of The Village, you have the opportunity to support these individuals and live out gospel-centered multiplication.
