Premarital Counseling

We foster premarital counseling through Home Groups. There are fundamental lessons to be learned in the months leading up to and following marriage. Our desire is to see this season of life flourish within the context of gospel-centered community. It is a wonderful way for you to learn together and have others speak truth into your lives as you build your marriage into a picture of the gospel.

Marriage Mentors

Couples are placed in a weekly multigenerational Home Group with a pair of marriage mentors in that group. These mentors walk with you for six months before and after the wedding, meeting with you outside weekly gatherings. Couples are also required to complete a six-week marital class offered in the fall and spring.

To start the process, please fill out this application. Allow sixth months before your wedding date to be placed.

We also offer spring and fall classes across our campuses on the topic of marriage. Couples may attend one of these classes as a premarital course.

Biblical Counseling

If you can’t commit to joining a weekly Home Group and walking with a pair of marriage mentors or need specialized care, we encourage you to meet with a biblical counselor for at least six sessions. We walk in partnership with several outstanding ministries that offer these services.
