Volunteers on our Connections team are some of the first people our attendees come in contact with at weekend services. They serve our church every week or every other week. They greet people before services, help people find seats, park cars, drive shuttles, work in Connection Central and serve communion.
Volunteers in Kids Village minister to our 1st - 5th graders during weekend worship services through singing with the children, telling stories and teaching the truth of God's Word. They check in kids, lead classrooms, provide assistance to classroom teachers and sing or play in the worship band.
Volunteers on our Facilities team serve behind the scenes. They take care of the church building and grounds and keep things looking and working great. They clean the church building, maintain the church grounds, prep for services and events, and help with landscaping, painting and taking out the trash.
Volunteers on our Finance team serve the church behind the scenes in the area of giving and financial stewardship. They collect the offering after weekend worship services or they assist with counting the offering on Monday mornings. Due to the confidential nature of the role, applicants must be Covenant Members.
Volunteers in Home Groups and Recovery Groups lead groups to cultivate gospel-centered community. They oversee groups of 12-15 individuals, develop leaders, encourage non-members toward membership and encourage members to faithfulness, communicate regularly with their oversight and attend leader events.
Volunteers in our High School ministry get the opportunity to build and foster relationships with students, ministering them through the teaching of Scripture, worship and intentional discipleship. They check in students, greet students, set up events, lead small groups and sing or play on the worship team.
Volunteers in our Middle School ministry get the opportunity to create relationships with students and minister to them through the teaching of Scripture, worship and intentional discipleship. They check in students, set up events, greet students, lead small groups and sing or play in the worship band.
Volunteers in our Preschool ministry (birth – K) get the opportunity to shepherd and care for our littlest ones during weekend worship services through singing, dancing and teaching the truth of God’s Word. They check in kids, lead classrooms, provide assistance to classroom teachers and care for babies and toddlers.
Volunteers on the Production team keep things running smoothly during our weekend services and at events so that our attendees have a great experience meeting with the Lord and the church. They run the lighting and sound booth during services, put up slides for services and set up for services and events.
Volunteers on our Stories team help us testify to who God is and what He has done and is doing in Christ. These volunteers serve the body by creating and sharing stories that speak the truth about the way things are and proclaim the gospel through photography, videography, writing, editing and other areas.
Volunteers on our Worship team use their gifts and abilities to minister to the church body through the expression of worship to the Lord through music. They lead worship at weekend services and other ministries and events throughout the week and sing or play an instrument in the worship band.
We have a number of Covenant Members involved in various ministries and organizations near and far. We want to highlight these members and ministries to not only bring awareness to what God is doing and through our church but to also to connect our people to opportunities in which they can live out gospel-centered service, whether that be mentoring a student at a local school or serving refugees in the community.
