2008 Village Expeditions

Asia

Join a team in pushing back the darkness as we focus on relationship building in order to proclaim the Gospel among the lost. Additional opportunities include sports outreach, English Corner, and prayer walking. Six teams are available. *Team Size Limited Cost: $2100

Guatemala

Join us this summer as we work at a children's project in a poverty area. There will be a variety of opportunities to serve; from helping in the kitchen, construction, working with children, and sharing the love of Christ with the Guatemalan people. One day will be set aside to visit your Guatemala Compassion International sponsored child (if you are a sponsor). Cost: $1500

Yucatan

Travel to a small farming village near the North coast of the Yucatan Peninsula. This is an area where we ministered through Hurricane Wilma relief efforts in ‘05. We will return to shepherd and encourage those who became believers on our previous trip, as well as engage in outreach in Jesus name. We may also visit the nearby seminary in Merida (funded by The Village Church). Cost: $1200

Zambia

Join us on this trip to Africa where we will work with Family Legacy Missions International with the vision to connect the American Church and Family to the very heart of God by actively engaging them in the relief of the suffering and pain of the African AIDS Orphan. (Yes, families are welcomed and encouraged to join!)

• After 3/1/08 - $4400

Amazon

Our goal is to see people healed physically and spiritually, while at the same time strengthening and planting new churches along the Amazon River. The desired result is that not only South Americans are touched and changed by this ministry, but that North Americans will come back with a new sense of urgency, desire, and passion for the Great Commission which will overflow into daily life here at home, and have a lasting impact on both sides of the equator.
