Home Group Affirmation

The final step in the membership process is affirmation by a home group. All covenant members are asked to regularly attend a home group. Your home group leader will complete an affirmation form once you have shown a commitment to the group. Once this affirmation is completed, and you have fulfilled the other requirements of baptism, class attendance, and the signing of the church covenant, you will be considered a covenant member of The Village Church.

Anyone, guest or member, believer or unbeliever, is encouraged to attend a home group. While home group attendance is necessary for covenant membership, we would encourage you to view home group chiefly as a means for community. We would also encourage you to find a group prior to the class. You can find a list of home groups in your zone under the Small Groups section of this web site.
